I went out for a swim early in the morning with firdaus, thereafter he went for his band training at SWS and i went to meet up with hafiz and his gf. We went rounds and rounds taka searching for a "Chomel" hairpin for fiz's gf. In the end the shop was at wisma atria BUT yet the shop also dont have the pin and then we went out of wisma, and decided to get ice cream and then we went back to isetan in wisma again after receiving a call from hafiz brother girl-- friend. YET AGAIN, they dont have the one she wanted. after that we head down to far east. on our way there we were stopped by AIA financial consultants, i think another way of addressing them is insurance agents. We were asked whether we were interested in their saving plans, and my dearest friend, hafiz keep pushing all the qns towards me! and also when we were asked to leave our contact no. he once again claimed that WE as a group can be contacted at my no. ! so not forgetting him too, i wrote his no. down too . :)
now after exams, PROJECTS and PROJECTS. Stressed is desserts?!! bullshit!

A long day

Friday was a long day for me. As usual i woke up at 7 for the nine o clock lecture, i was nearly late as i took my own sweet time packing my bag etc.. after lesson i had project discussion which ended at around 3. It wasnt all project discussions as we had a few card games which lasted about an hour plus... after that denise accompanied me on my way to the driving centre, she was on her way to her friend's house which was beside her bf house, so coincidental right!! i was real early for my lesson!! I arrived at 410 pm, which was 20 odd mins early!! so i went to have a drink at the canteen, went to toilet twice, went to have a drink at the water cooler before i actually went to prepare for my lesson. I was in a speeding mood, so whenever i was on a straight road i would SPEED!!! but the highest speed i could go before stopping was 40... so nth much...i had to go back for practical 3 again cause the instructor said that i must practice more to be better, he also said i improved towards the end. anyway, i booked my practical a month later because of all the test coming up etc... i did a wrong booking, i booked my practical on a wed, 2.40pm where i should be having CB lecture.. so in order not to waste my $$, i have decided to skip lesson. If it is really really really important then i might consider cancelling my booking and i will have to waste my $$!!
So after that i went to my friends' birthday party at CB. I left the place at around 2 plus which was rather early because i really cant take it cause i was really exhausted... i reached home around 3 and went straight to bed.... IT was really a long day!!!!

My first postal survey

i just received my first postal survey questionnaire from Tns marketing research firm. The questionnaire booklet is really THICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is really really really thick!!!! It is the size of the CSB lecture book, the size of three FHM !!! And there are no spacing between the qns!!! font size =8!!!!! and they encourage us to return it within 7 days to get a extra $10 voucher. ohya, by completing and mailing it back u get $40 worth of vouchers. There are three different types of vouchers. from taka, tangs and NTUC. i decided to choose vouchers from TAKA... kekeke.
i did a couple of pages of the questionnaire and it really turn me off from doing it.... i have to literally strain my eyes to read the qns and and to use my finger to guide me along in circling the right ans for the right qns!!!
After learning Marketing Research, i can say that the questionnaire is really not well done. Firstly, it is really too long...
-postal survey can be long but not that long!!! GET it??!!
-Structure of the questionnaire( font size??!! readable??!!
-double barrelled qns!! ( i did only the first few pages)
some gd points
-cover letter included the necessary stuff eg:thanking the respondents blah blah blah.
-Research purpose clearly defined
-incentives rather attractive....( gd usage of the incentives!!)

forget the questionnaire. i just saw a filming today at Suntec, pierre png and the girl from the swimming series(name=not sure) the girl is hot although she dressed a bit sloppy..... hot hot hot hot hot!!! i noticed that the actors do not care about the surrounding ppls watching them.. it is like they are oblivious to the surroundings.....

job interview done....

i am now in the school library wasting my time and waiting for the next lecture.. i just had my practice job interview and i got 71 for my interview... the one thing that the "interviewer dont like about my appearance was my hair, she said it was too messy....

my new specs

i just made a pair of new specs, it has a black frame and i look kinda nerdy . i am just wondering whether should i wear it to school anot. hmmmmmm

i just recieved a call from some marketing firm, didnt manage to catch the name of the company. He asked me whether i was interested in joining their focus group discussions or would like a questionnaire to be sent to my house. I chose the postal survey method coz i am too lazy and busy to head down to their firm, but i would really like to join a focus group discussion.THE FINANICAL INCENTIVES are attractive!! Amounting close to $ 100 worth of vouchers. i wonder what are the vouchers like? better not be from toy r us or kiddy palace!!! there is also something like e diary where u blog using their website i think for 7 consecutive days and u get vouchers again.
I just received my pay[amounts undisclosed :) ] it is too little, sadly. sigh........

practical 2

i just had my second practical, and it was pouring. i had to wear this raincoat which made me look like a fireman. Everything was smooth today, only that i didnt check my blindspots and perform safety checks. we did the figure 8 and other courses hmmm, to be continued

2005

Dinner at Swensens= buying of experience. This statement is further supported by the fact that i still feel hungry after that!! and it is 3 times more expensive than dining at foodcourt or coffeeshop. but my friends and i got a early new year present from Swensens, we ordered 'Giant Earthquake' and we were not charged for that!! cool? The ice cream cost $22 . great present ya??
Anyway, after that we went to watch Meet the Fockers. it is my second movie in 2 consecutive days. the show is so much more interesting than Kung Fu Hustle. Kung Fu Hustle is a very very lame show..!! i give 2 out of 5 bites. Meet the Fockers is fun to watch , it is funny especially the part where the baby learnt his first word-- Assooooooo.
